Maritime & Border Patrol
- Contract to STC in 5 months
- Up to 7 h endurance
- LOS downlink up to 150 km
- Taiwan CAA STC · EASA and FAA certified
Patrol further, identify sooner and share the picture while the aircraft is still on station. AIR TEAM Intel turns a twin-engine aircraft into a certified maritime and border ISR platform, with radar, EO/IR, AIS and datalinks integrated, approved and handed over by one team.
Mission profiles
Maritime and EEZ patrol
Detect moving vessels with the SAR radar, identify them by AIS and inspect them with the EO/IR turret. Fishing zones and shipping lanes stay covered.
Land-border surveillance
Watch for illegal crossings and smuggling along long border lines, day and night, and pass the track to ground units.
Search and rescue over water
Find people with thermal imaging, radar and phone detection, then guide boats and helicopters with a live picture.
Multi-agency operations
Carry observers from several agencies, talk to coast-guard units and stream live video to a command centre.
Sensors and systems
We are technology-agnostic. The sensors below are the GOSHAWK fit; the OEM names are examples of the classes we integrate.
EO/IR identification
Gyro-stabilised turret for day and night identification: FLIR Star SAFIRE 380-HD on GOSHAWK, or the WESCAM MX, HENSOLDT ARGOS-II and Thales Euroflir classes.
SAR / GMTI / MMTI radar
All-weather radar for imaging and moving targets on land and sea. IMSAR NSP-7 on GOSHAWK; Leonardo, HENSOLDT and Thales classes on request.
AIS correlation
AIS receiver integrated with the radar and EO/IR, with vessel positions overlaid on the sensor video.
Signals and search payloads
Mobile phone detection, satellite phone monitoring and sonobuoy deployment support, specified per mission.
Datalinks and radios
Line-of-sight downlink up to 150 km, 3G/4G/5G and SATCOM beyond line of sight, and tactical radios to talk to units on the ground and at sea.
Operator workstation
Carbon-fibre workstation with a touchscreen mission control unit and onboard recording, quick to mount and demount for a role change.

Certification and support
Certified installation
Designed by AIR TEAM Engineering and approved as a change to the type. GOSHAWK went from contract to Taiwan CAA STC in five months.
Flight test
Ground tests, test flights and authority inspections before the aircraft is released for missions.
Crew training
Operator and mission training on the installed system, so crews are ready from the first sortie.
Maintenance and upgrades
Part-145 maintenance, an in-house avionics lab with OEM repair agreements, and sensor upgrades as the mission grows.
AIR TEAM Engineering designs the change under EASA design approval EASA.21J.849. AIR TEAM service installs and maintains it at Kunovice (LKKU) under EASA Part-145 CZ.145.0094 and Military Part-145 CZE.145.1004, and manufactures parts under POA CZ.21G.0075.
