Lone Star Commander

The Commander 2900 Docking Station is a training station for the Honeywell KLN-900 GPS receiver used in general aviation, business and military aircraft. The Commander Docking Station is a desktop trainer that allows the pilot to review basic, intermediate to advanced GPS functionality in a non flying environment. The Commander Docking Station is also used by pilots, avionics and maintenance personnel for data base, firmware updates and gps verification checks before a flight. Lone Star Aviation also has a line of custom Pelican Cases that holds the Commander 2900, kln-900 GPS, harness, ac cord and pilot's training manuals. Military training facilities use the pelican case to store the Commander 2900, the kln-900 GPS, cables and manuals so they can provide a complete traing package to remote pilots in the field.
