Many aircraft compasses listed within these web pages are used in military fixed wing and rotary aircraft.

Specific compasses have been developed by SIRS for use in aircraft requiring additional features, including 'Night Vision Goggle Compatibility' and specific Electrical Connectivity.

Night vision compatibility is designed into the compass and no external changes are required. NVG designs include the use of NVIS Green A and B Illumination as well as NVIS Blue.
