The FD15 is a pulse width modulated AC to AC power converter that provides regulated 0 to 115 Vac 400 Hz power up to 1.3 amperes for EL panel lighting . The FD15 will power approximately 750 in2 to 1000 in2 area of a EL panel.
The output voltage is varied by a slider voltage 0-5 Vdc applied at pin E from an external potentiometer 10K ohm 1/2 watt to ground or directly from a 0-5 Vdc voltage source applied to pin E.
An internal trim pot is provided to adjust the output voltage ±10% at its full clockwise position of the external pot.
Circuit protection includes low input voltage shutdown, soft start, high input voltage shutdown, output over voltage limit and output short circuit current limit.
