The KAC 503 Flight Information Services (FIS) Weather Module for KMD 540/550/850 supplies real-time weather information and other flight advisory information to pilots to enhance situation awareness. The KAC 503 receives textual and graphical weather information from the Honeywell KDR 510 VHF data link (VDL) receiver or the KDR 610 XM satellite receiver. This information is available 24/7.
The KAC 503 card fits easily within the casing of the KMD 540/550/850. Add it by simply unscrewing and sliding back the side panel.
