Founded in 2000 by a semiconductor entrepreneur and pilot, Dynon has become a leading provider of light aircraft avionics. The company began as a research project focused on developing low-cost angle of attack (AOA) indicators to improve aviation safety. This effort soon led to the development of an affordable electronic flight information system (EFIS) that included AOA capabilities, which was introduced in 2003. Over the years, Dynon has expanded its product line to include a wide range of glass cockpit avionics designed to enhance pilot safety. Today, the company offers a full suite of safety-enhancing avionics for pilots of all experience levels.
