Remote Oil Filter Kits - Radial Engines.

Twin-filter system for larger multi-bank radial engines of 2,000 cubic inches displacement and above. [R2800/3360 to name a few.] The Super Gorilla filter system, the first STCd for piston powered airplanes with engines of as much as 3,000 horsepower, has a measured flow capacity of 40 gallons per minute. The gorilla kits attach to the tubular engine mounts or to the firewall.

Many piston aircraft came equipeed with and still only have an oil screen. Oil screens do nothing to protect your engine- particles larger than 20 microns (.001”) will cuase damage.

Oil screens have one purpose- to catch particles when the engine starts making metal.
