AEROSPEC AS-AV-17 is a VHF communication antenna designed for installation on the underside of the aircraft fuselage. With its bent, low-profile design it provides a reliable radiation pattern for air-to-ground communication and is particularly suitable for helicopters and low-wing aircraft. Structurally and functionally, it matches the AV-17 and CI-122 models.

The antenna uses a four-bolt mounting base and a standard BNC connector, ensuring straightforward installation and full compatibility with common avionics systems. It is qualified for operation at speeds up to 350 mph and altitudes up to 50,000 ft.
