The SkyView Class 1 Mode-S Transponder provides a myriad of important features including 1090ES ADS-B OUT and Traffic Information Services (TIS). When equipped with the SkyView Certified transponder and GPS modules, and aircraft is compliant with the FAA 2020 ADS-B Out Mandate. It can automatically switch between air and ground modes for reduced pilot workload.

The SkyView Transponder is remote mounted and controlled using the SkyView Transponder Control Menu. It requires no dedicated panel-mounted controls. This saves panel space and reduces installation time.

Made for the SkyView System with control and annunciation appearing on the SkyView Display. The transponder module can be mounted anywhere in the airplane that is convenient. It communicates with the SkyView system via RS-232 Serial data ports on each SkyView Display.

Weighing only 1 pound, and with compact dimensions (5.6" by 1.8" by 2.4"), the SkyView transponder module can be located into the smallest places of your airplane. A quick release mounting tray allows for simple installation and easy removal if needed for service
