EarthX, Inc. is an USA manufacturing and engineering company based in Northern Colorado specializes in lithium battery technology and manufacturing. The company was founded in August 2009 by a Navy Veteran, also an electrical engineer, who is passionate about trail riding and endurocross riding and wanted a better alternative than the 170+ year old lead acid technology. The desire to remove weight was also very important and after years of research and development, EarthX launched a full line of lithium batteries for experimental and certified aircraft needs. EarthX is very excited to be the first company in history to achieve a 12V FAA, TSO, approved lithium battery for certified aircraft use.
How about replacing that 12V heavy, large chunk of LEAD with a 5.4#, 800 Peak cranking amp lithium battery? Introducing the ETX900-TSO FAA approved lithium battery! Right now we have an AML STC for the Cessna 182P with many more models to follow.
How about replacing that 24V dinosaur battery with a 7.2#, 850 Peak cranking amp battery? Introducing the ETX680-24-TSO FAA approved lithium battery as well.
EarthX is passionate about investing resources into the certified aircraft market to advance the old technology used. As the world leader in the experimental aircraft market for lithium batteries, EarthX has used all that experience and knowledge to become the first ever TSO’d approved lithium battery manufacturer with a 12 volt battery and now we also have a 24V TSO’s approved battery.
As the first company to achieve this goal, EarthX has what is called a FAA TSOa certification. We hold the design approval and manufacturing approval to produce this battery.
EarthX ETX Hundred Series batteries are the most used and trusted batteries on the market! EarthX is an American engineering company that is the first in the world to achieve a 13.2V FAA approved TSO Certified lithium starter battery! The ETX Hundred series are designed specifically for your aircraft starter or backup battery needs. The latest model added is the ETX104, designed for your back up power for your critical systems complete with current limiting so it works with any aircraft charging system.
